JOIN US FOR AN IMMERSION INTO THE WONDERS OF THIS MOST DAZZLING OF LITERARY FORMS

Study at home, from anywhere in the world.

Our expert editors, award-winning authors and creative writing lecturers will guide you through the mechanics and subtleties of the short story. There will be weekly writing exercises, set reading, and a comprehensive exploration of the art and craft of composing stories. Submitted work will receive extensive feedback/critiquing by our editors each week, with the aim of producing a publishable, perhaps even a prizewinning, story or two. Our online forum allows interaction with others on the course, as well as the option to continue working together beyond Week 5 at no additional cost.

A friendly and relaxed course to unravel the mysteries of this demanding form.

You should allow between four to six hours per week to complete the course, which can be done in your own time.

No specialist knowledge of the short story needed. All levels catered for.
